BIO

He is a consultant psychiatrist currently working in Nottinghamshire. He has experience in both general adult and forensic settings.

He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating mental disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Personality Disorders, ADHD, ASD, and substance misuse.

He is specialised to undertake the following tests and assessments: mental capacity assessment, IPDE [International Personality disorder examination], Addenbrook’s cognitive assessment, Mini-Mental State examination, ADHD assessment and ASD assessments.

He writes expert reports for wide range of courts, both civil and criminal. He is proficient in applying legal tests—diminished responsibility, fitness to plead, fitness to interview and fitness to attend court.

He also writes reports for Special Immigration Appeals Panel (SIAC), the Parole Board and a whole range of other Justice agencies.

His assessments and treatments are evidence based, structured and in adherence with NICE guidelines.

He is interested in computers and is striving to understand the ever evolving influences of social media on the mental well-being.
